Restaurants and Bars:
Guests have the option of several restaurants to choose from at the resort, as well as 3 at the nearby Almond Beach Club and 3 at Almond Casuarina Beach via a complimentary shuttle. (Please note that only guests 16 and older are allowed at the Club.) Throughout the day, snacks are available from the beach grill, and room service is offered for lunch and dinner.
Horizons -
Main restaurant serves a buffet-style breakfast with made-to-order omelets, full lunch with a choice of either the buffet or an á la carte menu that changes daily, and a dinner menu of á la carte continental cuisine. Reservations are required for dinner.
A British-style high tea is served every afternoon offering sweet and savory pastries, scones, finger sandwiches and over 15 varieties of tea.
Enid’s Restaurant -
Classic Bajan cuisine in a colourful, festive atmosphere, this restaurant is open for dinner only and reservations are not required.
The Reef -
Set by the seaside this restaurant serves: Buffet-style breakfast and lunch, in the evening time it is a seafood restaurant. Reservations are required for dinner only.
La Samarrita -
Serving authentic Northern Italian dinners, this restaurant is open to guests 16 and older and requires reservations.
Boardwalk Bar & Grill -
Casual lunch service along the beachfront.
There are 5 bars, including the signature Tommy’s Bar - a true Bajan rum shop.
Recreational Activities:
Almond Beach Village boasts 7 swimming pools and two jacuzzis, all freshwater.
Water sports include: Hobie Cat sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurfing, aqua cycles, kayaks, fishing and banana boats, while diversions on land include a nine-hole, par-three golf course, tennis courts for day and night play and a spa located 15 minutes away at Almond Beach Club & Spa.
A weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party provides guests with nightly entertainment
including live music and shows, and after 11pm guests can enjoy Rachel’s Nightclub as well.
A complimentary shuttle allows guests to visit the other properties on Barbados: Almond Beach Club & Spa (guests 16 and older) and Almond Casuarina Beach.
Almond Kids’ Club
As part of the all-inclusive package, the children’s program at Almond Beach Village has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborn to teens, keeping them happily entertained with playgrounds, kiddie pools and fully equipped activity centres. Fully qualified staff allow parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their little ones are supervised and well looked-after. Children’s programs include a Nursery for infants 0 - 23 months, a Mini-Club for children two to four years of age, Kids Clubs for children 4 - 12 and a fully equipped Teen Centre for teens 13 and over. Baby Sitting is also available (additional charge locally).
